Fourth Year Projects

The fourth year projects were vertical and horizontal developments.
Highrise in San Francisco.

The high-rise project was located inside San Francisco Bay area. My site was located on the northeast side of the bay close to the bay bridge and Rincon Park. The temporary bus station is the site. The site development limitations gave me only a third of the site to me. The building form tries to negate one side of the vortex created by the wind which in turn will push the building in the direction to which the 'wings' of the building are facing. There are wind turbines on the facade of the building generating electricity. The circulation at the bottom is transparent except for the region where the traffic is residential. The restaurants are well lit with both natural and artificial light.

San Francisco Sketches.

These are some sketches I did for the high-rise project.

Scandinavian Consulates.

The five Scandinavian consulates were our clients in this chosen site next to the US bank of Fargo, North Dakota.  I relied on the transparency of their ways to show on the architecture.  The residence part was the upper portion of the consulates for the consulate general and the family.  I got second place for this, as it was also a Marvin Windows competition.
