I designed the layouts and the art assets to go in the magazine.

The unique challenges were that there were a lot of cultural elements to get inspired from.

Each design was given a specific color-coding, theme, and design language so that it was all consistent.

The water fountains

This water fountain was designed in the theme of the water and its movement throughout the magazine. I drew the sketch first and then designed it in illustrator.

The eyed windows

The woodwork of the eyed windows of the Newari culture was the main element for the basis of this design. We went with it even on the introduction pages.
